Robert Hertzberg is a Director of H2C Safety Pipe, Inc., bringing decades of public-policy, governance, and clean-energy leadership to support the company’s strategy and regulatory engagement. A former California State Senator and past Speaker of the California State Assembly, he is one of the few individuals in California history to have led both legislative chambers.

Throughout his legislative career, Hertzberg established himself as a pragmatic, solutions-focused leader on tax reform, water policy, renewable energy, and climate-resilient infrastructure. In the private sector, he co-founded and advised multiple clean-tech and grid-modernization companies, merging policy insight with technology innovation.
