2007-2010
Focus on Hydrogen Transport
Rinaldo Brutoco and Jerry Brown co-author Freedom from Mideast Oil, and Profiles in Power, identifying hydrogen as the most likely alternative to fossil fuel. In 2008, Brutoco files his first patent.
2007-2010
Initial Patent Issues
US Patent 8,336,810 (“System, method & apparatus for widespread commercialization of hydrogen”) issues in 2011. H2 Clipper, Inc. is formed in 2012 to pursue goal of economic hydrogen transport.
2020-2022
Initial Safety Pipe™ Patents
US Patent 11,236,864 (“Hydrogen transport, distribution & storage system, method & apparatus”) is filed in 2020 on dual containment system for safer hydrogen pipelines. Two Safety Pipe patents issue in 2022.
2023-2024
Completion of Prototype
In 2023, H2C Safety Pipe is engaged by the largest publicly-traded hydrogen infrastructure company to construct a full-size prototype in Houston, Texas. This work was successfully completed in 2024.
2020-2022
Initial Safety Pipe™ Patents
Established as as Independent Company In December 2024, H2C Safety Pipe, Inc. was officially spun out from its parent company. This structural change enabled dedicated leadership to advance the development, deployment and licensing of its patented hydrogen transport technologies.
